LEADERSHIP GLOBAL EXCHANGE INITIATIVE

This program is a thirty-day Global Exchange Program for teens ages 14 – 18. They will participate in an immersion leadership cultural exchange program for twenty students from a country in the Middle East, Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America, Eastern Europe, Asia, or Russia.

The purpose of this program is to expose students to American culture as well as gain professional leadership skills, financial literacy, and cross-cultural exposure. Students from the United States will in turn be exposed to the culture of the selected exchange country mutually learning and gaining a global perspective about a world bigger and different from their own.

Kids in Daycare

Participants will learn how to start and launch a business and during their stay, they will work in four groups of five to complete a capstone project that they will present in the U.S. and back in their home country.

SOS4OK will partner with an international NGO and the U.S. Department of State to support facilitating this program initiative.

Leadership from SOS4OK will travel with teachers, coaches, and carefully vetted chaperones to the country from the student exchange. Participants will experience graduation and return with a certificate and various citations for their involvement in this learning program.
