LEADERSHIP GLOBAL EXCHANGE INITIATIVE

The Global Exchange Leadership Program is a thirty-day immersive international exchange experience designed for youth ages 14 to 18. Anchored in the mission of Save Our Schools 4Our Kids Foundation, this program is more than travel—it’s a bridge that connects young leaders across cultures, continents, and communities in pursuit of global understanding, leadership growth, and social impact.

Each year, the program welcomes 20 high-potential students from countries including the Middle East, Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America, Eastern Europe, Asia, or Russia to participate in a unique cultural immersion and leadership development experience in the United States. At the same time, American students enrolled in the program will engage in reciprocal learning—exploring the language, traditions, and values of their international peers.

Program Objectives:

  • Cross-Cultural Immersion & Mutual Exchange
    Students from different cultural backgrounds live, learn, and lead together, developing empathy, communication, and a deep appreciation for cultural diversity.

  • Leadership & Social Impact Training
    Participants engage in hands-on workshops focused on ethical leadership, community advocacy, innovation, and teamwork. They'll be challenged to think globally and act locally—cultivating skills they can use for the rest of their lives.

  • Financial Literacy & Career Exposure
    Youth will gain essential financial knowledge—from budgeting and saving to entrepreneurship and global economics—equipping them with tools to become financially empowered global citizens.

  • American Civic & Cultural Experience
    Students will tour historic sites, engage with local leaders, and explore American social systems, arts, traditions, and educational pathways. In return, U.S. students will learn from the experiences, traditions, and insights shared by their international counterparts.

Through shared experiences, collaborative projects, and cultural storytelling, this program aims to develop a new generation of global ambassadors who are not only academically prepared, but socially conscious and emotionally intelligent.

This one-of-a-kind global initiative empowers youth to move from vision to venture by equipping them with the tools, strategies, and support to start and launch their own businesses. During their participation, students will work in small collaborative groups—four groups of five—to design and implement a real-world business concept as part of their culminating Capstone Project.

This entrepreneurial journey goes beyond borders. Students will present their Capstone Projects both in the United States and in their home countries, fostering bi-national dialogue, economic innovation, and cross-cultural impact.

Program Features:

  • Global Entrepreneurship Curriculum
    Participants will receive expert instruction in business development, budgeting, branding, pitching, and marketing—transforming ideas into scalable enterprises.

  • Capstone Project Collaboration
    Youth will be divided into leadership groups to co-create and refine a business solution that addresses real needs within their communities.

  • International Presentation Experience
    Final projects will be showcased in two phases: once in the United States, and again during a hosted community event in the students’ country of origin—offering participants the opportunity to lead on a global stage.

In Partnership for Global Impact

Save Our Schools 4Our Kids Foundation is proud to partner with a leading international NGO and the U.S. Department of State to ensure this program is impactful, safe, and globally recognized.

A dedicated team of SOS4OK leaders, teachers, business coaches, and vetted chaperones will travel with the students to their respective exchange country, supporting every step of their educational, cultural, and entrepreneurial journey.

Completion & Recognition

Upon completion of the program, each participant will be honored during a formal graduation ceremony, returning home with:

  • An official certificate of completion

  • Citations and awards recognizing leadership, collaboration, and innovation

  • A newfound network of global peers and mentors
