Save Our Schools for Our Kids Foundation is back again with its annual "Back-to-School Backpack Family Festival, Backpack, Cookout Extravaganza, Friday, August 26, 3-8 p.m., at the Blue Hills Fire District, 1021 Blue Hills Fire District, Bloomfield, Connecticut.
The activity will take place in the back of the fire station in the parking lot. Four hundred children will receive backpacks. There will be a live DJ, raffle, giveaway prizes, contests, games, and more.
First come, first serve. Parents/guardians/Grandparents must be present with the child. Mask and social distancing are required.
